While you shouldn’t buy a whole new wardrobe every season, you can probably still follow some of the spring 2024 trends with things you already own. I’m not a huge follower of trends, but I do use them as a way to highlight certain pieces I already have.
60s-Inspired Mini Hemlines
As I stated last year, we’re going to be seeing a lot of 60s inspiration in the coming seasons. This season, we’re seeing the return of mini hemlines. Mini dresses, micro mini skirts, and teeny tiny shorts are perfect for the warmer months. Finding vintage pieces from the 60s and 70s should be pretty easy since mini skirts took the world by storm in 1964.
Everything Is Gold
Gen Z’s love of silver hasn’t killed off gold yet. Clothes, shoes, and accessories will all be gold this season. Try a Slimane-inspired gold leather skirt for a bold look. Or you could simply just put your gold jewelry back on that you’ve been wearing for the past decade. This is probably one of the easiest spring 2024 trends to follow.
Spring Sheer
Sheer says “sexy without trying too hard”. The best part is, you can really wear this trend any season. In the spring, opt for a sheer skirt with a casual top or a sheer swim coverup. In the fall, opt for a sheer top under a velvet suit.
Dark Cherry
It’s not red. It’s not burgundy. It’s dark cherry. Despite dark colors being more popular in the fall, dark cherry will be making an appearance this spring. You can balance out a dark cherry bag or shoe with something white or floral to make it feel more “spring”.
Summer In White
Speaking of white, white dresses will be a huge spring 2024 trends. I personally love the look or a classic white shirt dress or a lacey boho maxi paired with a black leather belt make it a bit more edgy.
