Led Steppin’

I was very lucky to have a dad who was very into music growing up. It’s probably why I’ve always been so into music too, especially rock n roll. I’ve pretty much lived in a band tee since high school and I still wear them all the time as an adult. This look features a tee from one of my dad’s favorite bands: Led Zeppelin.

The foundation of this outfit is a good distressed band tee. In this case I’m wearing a vintage Led Zeppelin tee from Furst Of A Kind. They’re based out of LA and they handpick and rework vintage tees. Every band tee I’ve gotten from them has been super soft and distressed in all the right places.

I paired it with a vegan leather skirt from AllSaints, Lily sunglasses from Saint Laurent, the mini Julian backpack from Rebecca Minkoff, and cream croc boots from Schutz.

I’ve also really been into jewelry lately. I guess I’ve always had a pretty large collections of rings, but I usually neglect the other pieces. I can’t really commit to either gold or silver so I’ve been rocking the layered mixed metals look. My pieces include the Surfside Necklace + Parker Bracelet + Power Gemstone Ring from Gorjana, the Engraved Dagger Pendant from The Great Frog, and the Order/Chaos Pill Charm from Maison Miru.

Summer Serpent Lady

Snake printed pants are definitely nothing new for me. Unlike my faux leather snake pants, these cropped pants are made of fabric and way more comfortable for the middle of summer.

A plain black camisole from AllSaints keeps me cool (and shows of my tattoos) and lets my pants be the main focal point of the outfit. Speaking of pants, I’m wearing the Marlon pant from Reformation. While this style is sold out on their site, I found a few for sale on Poshmark here, here and here. Also, they do have the Veda 5 Pocket Leather Pant, which is basically the same style but in leather.

My shoes are the Elegant Studded Western Boots from Givenchy. My bag is the Barbara bag from The Kooples. My lipstick (that I’m currently obsessed with) is the Hot Lips 2 Lipstick from Charlotte Tilbury in the shade “JK Magic”. It’s like my natural lip color, but better.

Black + Nude

Black and nude is probably one of my favorite color combinations. It’s clean, it’s simple, and you can do whatever you want with it. Mixing a simple black and nude look with some chunky sterling silver jewelry and leather accessories gives a normally sophisticated outfit some edge.

My Archer Cropped Cami from Alice + Olivia is definitely a summer staple of mine. Another summer staple is linen. The Elyse Trouser from Anine Bing is the perfect cropped high-waisted linen pant that’s breezy and casual.

My leather accessories include a leather cap and the medium Barbara Bag from The Kooples, leather strappy heels, and the Signature Choker from Zana Bayne (vegan leather options are available). I also wore my favorite chunky silver jewelry including the Engraved Dagger Pendant from The Great Frog.
