To be honest, I will use any occasion as an excuse to go shopping. Valentines Day was just my excuse to buy something red. I originally found this set at an Urban Outfitters near me when I first moved to Arizona, but they didn’t have my size. When my friend and I went shopping together, it was still in the store, and they had gotten my size! I think it was meant to be.

This set is basically a glorified tracksuit, which is why I love it so much. It’s so cute and comfortable! I thought the rust red color was a cooler take on the classic red and pink Valentines Day pallet. It also allowed me to wear the set outside of Valentines Day. To keep the outfit from looking too much like a tracksuit or jumpsuit, I wore a western-style belt which helped to synch in may waist. The top and pants of this set are both pretty flowy, so the belt helped define my waist and give me a little but of a curve. To keep from looking short in these wide leg pants, I wore my tallest platform boots. My oversized round sunglasses and bangles added some cute retro-gypsy details and my bag is small enough to hold what I need without distracted from the rest of the outfit. Plus, it adds another touch of my favorite color: black.
