So I went exploring up outside my usual neighborhood and ended up at this record store called Rhino Records in Claremont. Usually, I end up at Amoeba in Hollywood, but I couldn't resist this shop. Being that it was not too far from the college, I figured that it wouldn't have a decent selection. I was right.
I spent a good amount of time in the store, and the entire time I was there, it was crowded with college students. Rhino Records had an awesome selection of not only records, but music-related books and novelty items. It reminded me a lot of a mini Amoeba with the product selection, neon sign, and doors covered in stickers.
Ultimately, I didn't leave with any goodies since I wasn't really prepared for a shopping trip. Still, I am definitely going back and Rhino Records is now definitely on my map for buying vinyl records.
