Just A Little Green

Beanies are pretty much the greatest fall accessory there is. They look cute, keep you warm, and let you get away with not doing your hair that day. If it wasn't so warm here in California, I would seriously wear one every day. Since it has been so hot this autumn (I still can't believe that Trump doesn't think global warming is a thing), I've been trying to find a balance between warm and cool weather pieces to make a fall outfit that won't leave me sweating.

First I went with a beanie for the reasons I mentioned above. Any outfit instantly becomes "fall" when you add a beanie. Then I went for a cropped top to help keep my torso cool. I covered my crop top with a fall staple, a knit cardigan, that is pretty light and I can take off if i get too hot. For jeans, I went for my most comfortable Freeboards from One Teaspoon. They're shredded which helps keep my legs cool when it starts to heat up in the city and, in general, One Teaspoon jeans are the best shredded "boyfriend" jeans I've found that are actually flattering. And I'm very picky. Lastly, I went for a pair of snake print Jeffrey Campbell booties to keep the fall look going without making my feet sweat in standard black boots.
