But The Leopard In You Silently Preyed On Me
I really think that a denim jacket is the best transition piece for the fall. It's light enough that you're not going to sweat while you're wearing it in the sun, but it's still heavy enough to keep you warm on cool autumn nights. Cuffing the sleeves (like I do) or adding fun patches or pins is a great way to customize your look too. Personally, I prefer slightly oversized denim jackets to fitted or cropped ones. The look is more casual and relaxed when the jacket is slightly oversized, and I feel like most people look like cowboys when they wear a fitted one.
These leopard TUK Creepers are super cute, but also discontinued. I'm actually really surprised that they discontinued this shoe because it hadn't been around that long. Recently, TUK released their Mondo line, which are lighter, rounder, and cheaper than the classic Creepers. The new line comes after the popularity of TUKs with girls outside of the alternative communities. I guess that enough complaints about the price and weight of the shoes prompted TUK to release this line. While most of my TUKs are from the days before they got popular with the mainstream crowd, I decided to give these mainstream alternatives a try.
I have to admit that I don't hate them. They're definitely lighter than my original TUK Creepers, but they also don't feel as sturdy as my old ones. I'm just waiting for the day that I break through the insole of the shoe and my foot get stuck in the hollow platform of it.
