Choosing between silver and gold sucks, but sometimes there's just a clear winner. My Ganesha Statement Piece from Sticks + Stones is by far my favorite piece of jewelry so I had no issues deciding to go with silver as my metal of choice for this outfit. Accent metals in general are great for adding a little more detail to your outfit without overwhelming it. They're also a great way to add a little sparkle and shine to you outfit while still keeping it edgy. Even when I'm wearing as little clothing as possible in the summer months, some great accessories and jewelry still makes me feel put together.

Without my usual wardrobe staples - jackets and boots - my summer outfits always seem half-assed. With the help of a lot of accessories, I feel like I have a complete outfit, even in the hot weather. Sunglasses are a must, especially in the summer. The My Girl sunglasses from Quay protect my eyes from the summer sun while also looking bad-ass. I tucked a plain black camisole I found at Nordstroms into my Bandit shorts from One Teaspoon to show off the texture of the shorts as well as my silver western-style belt from Urban Outfitters. To bring more of the attention up to my face, I wore my Ganesha Statement Piece from Sticks + Stones. As usual, I've got a bag with me, this time a small studded cross body bag. To keep my feet cool, I wore my studded gladiator sandals from BCBGMaxAzria, which are pretty much the only sandals I'll actually wear. As usual, I wore a lot of big rings to finish off the look.
